The NEW Holiday Inn Express &Suites, Colorado Springs South I-25 is seeking applicants to join our cleaning team.
What is my main role?
You will ensure that our rooms are always fresh and inviting for our guests!
Your day to day...
You will ensure that our rooms and facilities are remarkably clean, special and memorable for guests by washing, drying and folding plush and linens. Using cleaning and laundry chemicals according to instructions will maintain the quality of our clothing inventory.
Work safely at all times and wear gloves, belts, and safety glasses when necessary. Maintain washer and dryer filters. Keep the equipment free of dust. Keep your supervisor up to date on needed repairs or other guest room concerns.
You will keep the carts, orderly, and well-stocked.
Work as part of a team to ensure excellent quality and service.
You can regularly help with deep cleaning projects or daily cleaning of rooms or public areas.
Smile, greet warmly, and assist guests as if they were guests in your home.
What else does the job require of you?
It is physical work and you will be on your feet most of the day with repetitive movements.
Occasional lifting of heavy objects and/or pushing/pulling of heavy objects.
You may need to bend down and kneel frequently to complete some activities.
Flexible attitude towards shifts – work weekends and/or holidays.
